Public institutions are increasingly planning to consolidate office space – driven not only by cost-cutting goals, but also by the need to boost efficiency and create modern, safe work environments, says Marcin Kowal, Associate Director, Office Department, Newmark Polska.

Newmark Polska, an international commercial real estate advisory firm, has opened an office in Katowice. The new regional office, led by Tomasz Chojnacki, is located in the mixed-use complex Supersam.

Tomasz Chojnacki, a commercial property expert with nearly 20 years’ experience, has joined international real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska as Regional Director for Southern Poland in its Office Department, with effect from 1 August. His key responsibilities include representing office tenants during relocations and lease renegotiations.

Shiji, a leader in IT solutions for the hospitality, retail and leisure industries, has extended its lease in Silesia Business Park in Katowice. The transaction involved 2056 sqm of high-standard office space. The tenant was represented during the renegotiation of the lease by specialists from real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.

Magdalena Zagórska, a commercial property expert with 15 years of professional experience, has joined international real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska as Director in the Office Department, with effect from 2 June 2025.
