Shiji, a leader in IT solutions for the hospitality, retail and leisure industries, has extended its lease in Silesia Business Park in Katowice. The transaction involved 2056 sqm of high-standard office space. The tenant was represented during the renegotiation of the lease by specialists from real estate advisory firm Newmark Polska.
Shiji’s offices in Poland are the company's largest offices in Europe. Shiji is a global provider of integrated IT systems for hotels, restaurants, stores and entertainment companies (including amusement parks and golf resorts). The company's comprehensive and scalable solutions support customer service, data analysis, payment processing or service and property management. Over 25 years on the market, Shiji Group has delivered its software to 91,000 hotels, 200,000 restaurants and 600,000 points of sale. The company has over 5,000 employees in more than 80 offices worldwide.
“Our support provided Shiji with a better negotiating position, which enabled the company to obtain more favorable commercial terms by deciding to stay in its current location. The landlord also offered numerous incentives, including adapting the space to the current needs of employees, architect support, rent vacations and an additional pool of parking spaces,” says Patryk Kowalkowski, Advisor at Newmark Polska.
